Professor of Pharmaceutics at UCL School of Pharmacy and Vice Dean at UCL's Faculty of Life Sciences (Impact and External Engagement). His research focuses on pharmaceutical sciences, probiotics and innovative medicines, including the use of 3D printing technologies in drug development. Alongside his research, Simon is passionate about widening access to science and ensuring that life sciences research delivers real-world benefits for people and society.

Dr Giorgia Siriaco is the Science Communication Manager in UCL's Faculty of Life Sciences. With a background in cell biology and epigenetics research, she now specialises in communicating discoveries across the life sciences, from molecular biology to biodiversity. Passionate about creative storytelling, Giorgia aims to make complex scientific ideas accessible, engaging and relevant, helping diverse audiences connect with the research and discoveries that shape our understanding of the world.

Ian McLachlan is a Marketing and Communications Manager in UCL's Faculty of Life Sciences. He leads on student recruitment marketing, helping prospective students discover the opportunities, research and community that make life sciences at UCL unique. He works closely with academics, students and professional services teams to tell engaging stories about studying and researching life sciences, with a particular interest in biodiversity, environmental research and public engagement.
